Greedy Kite I had assumed only those doing the crossword would provide me with an answer Some words,by the way, do NOT appear in the solver list

You'll find that there are lots of people here happy to help you even if they don't do your particular crossword, which is why we ask for the clue, number of letters and any you already have. Provide those and you're much more likely to get a quick answer. It also makes sense to append your response to the same thread by clicking on 'Add Reply' rather than starting a new one.
