Can you give us maybe 1 down 'explorer staying over a pit', 2 across Loyal pop group, to a child, 7 down Make it, having cried out 'goodbye'. Maybe get us started! ????????? heeeelp!!

I don't remember the clue to GUYS
If you can remind me I'll try and figure out how I got it !
If you vcan also give me the number of letters in the other clues I'll have a go at remembering.
I have to say that the bloke who compiles the clues for the Skeleton is a bit vague to say the least !
Regularly I find myself putting answers in which are definately right but I can't explain them !
