Couldn't wait any longer - just had to start it. Found it fairly easy this week on a long journey to Paighton Liked 5d & 12a. Hope everyone is ready for Christmas. Good wishes to all and a healthy 2012.

Brilliant - thanks for the corrections!

Had a completely different answer for 17d. Sound of a cat (shortened), making a word that could be used for a good/moral person. So now I'm torn between the two. Think it's one of those clues that could be either word!!! Will now have to wait & see what others think.
