I can only find Shot or Stotz on the tackle shop websites.

The end protector does not have an 'english' construction with -M-B-R. I would suggest rubber (hence the ? as they are being vulgar and thinking of condoms!).

The whole thing is Cylindrical weight now mostly replaced by stotz- part of nasty leger!
