Today's puzzle not so full of weirdness as yesterday's so just 2 queries:

"Ruined Louis XIV?" = sunk.
"Second person's tiny measure" = thou.

Louis XIV was the Sun King

THou means 'you' the second person, and a thousandth is a small measure

1.LouisXIV was known as the SUN KING.

2. Thou= you (second person). Thou is also short for thousanth (small measurement).
