Are you sure of your s? it could be encomia

Sorry didn't explain -- "one" and end (aim) standing up with commendation (c) makes encomia look likely.

Well we had storage as the answer to "Charge for leaving boat a short time or a long time" so we thought st = short time, age = long time with "or" hence storage
maybe moorage?

I agree with encomia, it fits all the clue nicely.
