Can I reiterate the question posed earlier in the thread about 7d why 'could be me'?

Who was the compiler of that crossword, Dr Why?

The compiler was Tim Moorey who I believe also does the fiendishly difficult Mephisto crossword in the Sunday Times

ChrisG thank you for your deconstruction of the clue to which the solution is burlesque. Not quite clear how que means 'it'. Sorry to be so dense but would appreciate an explication.
