Thank you, I thought of that but couldn't link it to Abraham's. Seems a bit obscure but I'm still quite new to cryptics.

The word "regularly" indicates that it could be regular letters from the word.ie 2 4 6 8 in this case.
This is quite common in cryptic clues,and I am sure you will meet it again quite often in the future.
