Hi April, are you sure of the letters? I have wracked my feeble brain, but it keeps coming back to terrace, which isn't long enough. Will keep trying though.

I had thought of terraces, but can't find anything to justify my answer.

How did you have pendicle before AB posted the answer.
I suppose that you must of thought of pendant meaning hanging and then went from there.
Or to put it another way ,why did you not say,is it pendicle?

Thank you AB for putting me out of my misery. It was one of those clues where I thought the answer was lurking in my subconscious, but truthfully it wasn't!
