How sad - I think the "name ban time" thread is a very unwelcoming sign for any potential newcomer to this usually pleasant and helpful site. It should be ignored not added to - then it WILL go away.

No, it wont, Julie. As long as this site is as uncontrolled as it is, there will always be people spouting what ever bile they want on here.

I am a "newbie" here, and have found this site very friendly and helpful. But I totally agree with you Julie re the "name ban" thread (I notice that another newcomer has tried in vain to end it !)
