This is SO maddening a five letter word of which I have three and I still can't think what it cam possibly be!

It'd twill - last letter of Hamlet and Will Shakespeare.

Is the answer not TWILL. Last part of Hamlet is T followed by WILL (Shakespeare)

"I" not "A" Therefore BILL crosses WILL.
