Thank you! I thought that might be it, just from the clue, but simply couldn't find the word (even been to SA, just never heard it). Suppose I should get a Chambers, if they're available on this side of the Atlantic- just afraid that my house will regurgitate if I put one more book in it. Know the feeling?

It will be in Chambers, I guess, but I make a lot of use of the free dictionary as below. Tried bonsella as a long shot and freedictionary seems to redirect to Collins English dictionary. Also shows derivation of the word --- from Zulu Ibanselo a gift

"Have a nice day"

PPS Suddenly got worried about the bonsella -- bonsela (one or two "l"s?/) I have just checked with Chambers 2008 as stated. It does give both spellings as acceptable with bonsella first. Really must get back to work Enjoyed this, Thanks

Thanks for the link, Olim. Now, now, we don't all say that; in fact it makes some of us cringe, though I must say it's a tad better than (God help us) "Have a good one."
