Answer is treatise. -at (a time) is (ones) antering tree - a plant and treatise is a work.

Ta v much too. Was 99.9% sure it was Treatise yet v good to see that it is the correct answer!

Agree with Simon - I\'d worked out only treatise could fit, but hadn\'t managed to convince myself why!
