I have the same problem as previous correspondents. I get the correct answer but I cannot make sense of the clues
E.G.
''Satellite station broadcast fading so''
The answer that fits is ''Titan' but if it did not fit the other letters I already have I could never arrive at the answer from the clues
Another;
'Moderate ignoring sun many times'
Again 'often ' fits the other letters I have but apart from that how could I arrive at the correct answer from the clues
I am waiting for a lesson on how to get there

Broadcast ie shuffle station fdaing out "so" from the word and you get Titan a satellite (a moon)
Moderate - soften - ignoring Sun (s) gives you often -many times

Andrew - it is a rare individual who sees all the answers from the clues alone, without any letters in all cases. I certainly don't and I still do ok - you're in good company. It's just a question of practise. After a while sometimes an occasional flash of brilliance of the question-setter is evident only in hindsight and will make you glow with satisfaction at the revelation!

Paul's advice is good. Always keep a box of tissues handy!
