I have LADETTE this new word for boisterous

I can't quite see 26a in the same puzzle
I can only find CRATERS but why ?

It's got to be ladette. Anagram of dealt, plus TE, but why TE I can't see

Yes, the TE comes from sides (banks) of "the"

Thank you, Dudley,Ajt and Mastro. I now see that it is obvious that ladette is the answer, a new word to me. Brilliant explanation as to where the te comes from.26a. Old cars are called bangers or crates.
