Help with 2 clues please?
"Plant daggers in Capone's back" (7) - it has to be LOBELIA, but why? I know that Al backwards is there, but why OBELI in the middle?
Also: "One member bearing harm" (6) I have: -M-A-R
and can only think of IMPAIR as the answer.

This is an obelus, † ,and is the dagger mark used to indicate a footnote to a passage. The plural is OBELI.
