Hi trisha and eleanormcn, (snap, again).
I can understand the 'dance' bit for bobbing up and down but the 'rid' bit I simply do not get.

hello again,
naturally, as soon as one says they just don't get it, they do!
'r' for river, and 'id' is a fish.

I have just checked my ancient Collins and sure enough - 'id' as a fish is not in it. I then checked my Collins Gem and all it gives is 'ide' for fish. Back to the drawing board! Thanks eleanormcn.

According to my ancient Chambers (7th ed.) 'id' or 'ide' is a fish from the same family as the carp so you are spot on.
