Evening all, I've not been around all week, but back now with the Times gone by clues.
For anyone who doesn't know what this is.
I put up 5 clues from a Times crossword from the past, I will stick in a letter or two later if they're not solved - which hasn't happened yet because I only started last week.
Anyway, here goes.

3) Aim in studies could be further entries (12)
