Hi all.

"French head of police's senior pupil" = prefect.

"Stones stranded" = pebbbles.

"22, say, heard in Paris school" = lycee (22=Lee).

I suspect I'd benefit from a greater knowledge of French today...

A prefect in france has some power over the police,

and, of course, a senior pupil.

Completely stumped on the others.(including where to get "ap" for catnap from a previous post of yours).
