Can anyone please tell me what edition my 1998
Chambers is?
Half the words needed for Mephisto seem to be missing!

The current edition of Chamber's is the 11th,
I fancy you have got the 9th edition,I seem to buy a new one every five years,it may be less.

Thanks Jerry, each new edition must get weightier with all the new words, or perhaps the print is smaller!

You should be able to find the edition number on the same page as the copyright information - usually opposite or just after the title page.
