I am trying to do 5 ac ("Army loses its leader, embarrassed,but well-organised,7"). The answer for 5d has already been given as "Overcome", making the first letter O. I thought the answer to 6d ("Name adopted by fish- Paul Jones, maybe, 5" was Wanda) But in that case 5ac is O-W----, for which the only answer seems to be Onwards. Can't make any sense of that.

Thank you very much. I was thinking "A Fish called Wanda" and one "wanders" in a Paul Jones. I remember them with great affection. That way I sometimes got to dance with the good-looking men!!
I see now- Dace is the fish and "name" is n. I have sooooooooooo much to learn.
