I set crossies just for pleasure. I wonder if some of you excellent regulars would like to try a few of my clues? Since they're new, no letters!

It’s been suggested that solutions are withheld till 5 pm BST (GMT+1) to allow others to have a go.

Even as I wrote, the absolutely brilliant and wonderful solvers have spoiled the fun.

What if everyone just reads and takes note of your clues, then "cross your heart and hope to die" do not look at again until after 5.

I have enjoyed this forum for many months, but it seems now that it has been taken over by a bunch of mean-spirited, abusive know-it-alls, and I feel very much inclined not to bother any more.

What can you say. Having read some of Nytram's previous posts I would give him the benefit of the doubt. But these other pricks obviously have more deep rooted personality problems. One can only hope that their carers can look after them so that I don't accidently run over them or something.
