Hiya,

4D) Yank gets appropriate neighbours to welcome queen (4)

I have J - R -
If it's Jerk = Yank, and the queen gives the ER, where is the JK coming from with the Appropriate neighbours part?
Am I off kilter with this,
Any ideas welcome.

From the alphabet. JK.

J & K are neighbours in the alphabet. Not sure why appropriate is needed.

you'll kick yourself. J-K. abcdefghijk,etc.

on second thoughts,that may not be right. Jack and King (J and K) are appropriate neighbours of the Queen in a pack of cards.
