Have completed ST4430 but for 15d I have grenadine (anagram of endearing) but have no idea why. Any help out there please?
By the way, as I'm fairly new to this, I aasume the protocol is to put the newspaper and crossword number in the subject line ...?

Designed in the clue suggests an anagram. Grenadine is a drink but also a thin silk material

Yes it's helpful to always give the clue and the number of letters in the clue and any letters you already have as not everybody has the newspaper your are working on.
