It's only arcane if you don't know it. This is schoolboy stuff. The compiler is supposed to puzzle you anyway!

Not so difficult, Enigma. It was clearly indicated as an anagram - sorted; there are sites which will sort out anagrams for you, if you need, and the phrase is in Chambers.
