Ive got 4 clues that I cannot fathom out - can anyone help me please?

2 Dairy product task or function
3 Look after horse
4 Fish defeat

No number of letters given and all answers are as near as possible to ow they sound
i.e. no ze on this wind - breeze - bree - brie

The last one could be GARLIC. GAR type of fish and LIC sounds like lick to defeat. ( garlic bread )
