Help please anyone?!! I have 8 clues to go and having difficulty even with some of the clues already given - they are:
17. Liberal concoction of embossed lettering (7)
26. Eastern European, after great help,was transformed & is very supportive (9/4)
40. Speedy communication for emergency is used in hotel (3/4)
46. Orientlal abstainer gets inside look at official newspaper (7) - orientlal spelt correctly?
55. The conference was carried by the Principal - a very articulate man (7) - clue here already given is "the answer is in the clue" - is this something to do with "head"
77. Step on weapon & as a result you should be allowed in (8) - clues already given are French word for step = etape?/weapon is last 5/8 of answer & what journalists do.
90. Communication. Seawater amazingly washes filthy clothing in seconds (5) - clues already given are the keyword is "seconds" or "not snail mail".

Haeremai18 again - I missed out one of the questions, i.e. 32. Call to get a person started on campanology (4,7,1,4). Clues already given are the 1st word is alternative word for "present" - is this a gift? - another clue was "when you phone someone you don't present them with a clanger. Is the answer ----/ringing/a/bell or is "bell" the first word?
