The wetland is read about (4,7)
It's only a short way to Yorkshire (4,7)
I've never heard of film stars named guffaw or swamp so I need some assistance here!

1 might be george clooney

The wetland could be BOG. Anagram of read is ARDE

DIRK BOGARDE - not sure where the DIRK came from

there is an actor called peter reardon,
but not sure if its pete, as in peat, wetlands.

last one might be jeff bridges, or even his brother beau bridges, ho hum

thanks folks, but as you say none of it quite works. Maybe they are just rubbish clues as I don't know where this came from originally. More suggestions gratefully received as I told my pal I knew just the place to get the answers! Pride goes etc.

i know quite a bit about film, but without any letters in clue bit hard to put it together.
