Can anyone shed some light on the connections between:

1. Johann Christian Bach and Robert Burns
2. Marilyn Monroe and Jimi Hendrix

2. Overdose? or is that too obvious

for 1 Google suggests they were both famous freemasons

Thanks so much for your response. In my googling, I didn't find out that they were freemasons, so thanks for that.

With the Marilyn Monroe question, the compiler had given a hint (which I'm sorry I forgot to mention) which was 'see the rainbow'. I can't see any connection between that and overdoses.
