Hi all,

Just wanted to tell you do not try and thank Sallyw re her security warning.

I did, and my computer instantly went haywire.

Warning about at least 5 infection...

Of course I took this in my stride...NOT...big girlie screams all round.

Better half (sometimes) came to the rescue.

Running scans now...

Cheers Pastille. When it came up on my computer, as a naturally suspicious person when it comes to these things I shut the page down then went back into Firefox and did a search on it and found this http://techjaws.com/security-tool-downloads-via-fake-firefox-blo... which showed exactly the same window as had appeared on my screen. It came up twice when I went on the help forum, so I just got rid of it.

@harry - if you click on the link posed previously it will explain everything.

In simple terms... previously there was a post from Sallyw warning of a possible virus.

I thought I would thank her...

When I pressed "add reply" I instantly had warnings that I was infected...

I don't think I was, so do not down load all the stuff, they are asking you to do.

Just close and run your own anti virus software.

You are right Pastille, as long as you don't click the download button you are ok, but it's a bit worrying that you got it when you went to reply to my post. I have scanned my computer and nothing was found, but you can't be too careful.
