I'm struggling with the top left corner of today's Mephisto and a dog that needs to go for a walk.
Help with two clues please!
12 Across. Clark Kent? A failure getting round that female (7) I have N????R?
20 Across. Settled back in lover's embrace with quiet computer game (8) I have BE???MU?
I think the letters I have are right (but I wouldn't put money on it!)

For the first one I have Nonhero - which is what Clark Kent is before he turns into Superman.
I haven't got the other one -yet!
