I set crossies just for pleasure. I wonder if some of you excellent regulars would like to try a few of my clues? Since they're new, no letters!
It’s been suggested that solutions are withheld till 5 pm to allow others to have a go.
1. Man, for example, just put down first design (4,4)
2. Fleecing vipers, say, is uncommon without paying or helping oneself (4-7)
3. Prepared out of bed frame (3,2)
4. Not knowing it’s strange? (7)
5. Pined for this form of transport (5)

Hi. Can we submit our suggestions now or do we need to wait until 5pm?

A few of the regular and very expert contributors to this site suggested, a month or so ago, that solvers might refrain from putting forward anything until after 5 p.m. This is so that those who wish to 'have a go' can do so without being drawn to the answers prematurely.
