A very topical & fun crossword, but I wanted to check whether other EV er's had entered 19a (after the thematic movement) in 1a style?

Yes, entered it 1ac style so that first letter of the interim product became the correct first letter of the final product. Discussion at great length on EV 957 thread on Answerbank, as to whether the whole of 19Ac should be treated with the thematic movement. It was a toss-up, really.
