Trolling is pulling a line behind a moving (powered)boat.

The trolling we are seeing tonight is different from all the rest we have had and I politely ask you to keep out of it.

Obviously terry your piscatorial knowledge is lacking and you are not being polite but I will keep out for fear of opening a can of worms I cannot fish with.

Have a look at wiki (trolling fishing). OK doesn't have to be a moving boat-although it usually is- but line is def not allowed to drift.
