Can I just check what people think about 14ac? By my reckoning, it's got 1 letter too many for the anagram part to work. But I've already got 11 clues which will give me the letters for 16dn. So, 14ac - yes or no?

Thanks for the reassurance ixion. It's the 2 a's (a film...a northern) which I assumed would contribute to the anagram. The second a seemed one too many.

all done - should've known mystery phrase would be associated with special instructions.
