Hi all.
It just shows how your mind can become averse to thinking differently once you have your teeth into an answer.
All afternoon, I've been lambasting the compiler for the clue to 2d) Devout prior is dismissing reverend (5).
To which I had P-O-S, and I put in Pious.
I thought he had made a mistake, as I took PRIOR IS and dismissed RR (Right Reverend), leaving me with PIOIS.
Then on reflection and becoming less stubborn about it, I realised it was much more straight forward than that.
Prior = Previous, dimiss REV leaving Pious = Devout.
Don't know about you guys, but I am so guilty of not thinking sideways once I have an idea about something.
My apologies to the Sat Times compiler.
