Grid A 32d is only 3 letters and it's an anagram of end
Grid D 8a Girl's name 4 letters (old fashioned name)
round E (earth), with anagram of gore round all of the previous bit. Then the first 4 letters have to be relaced by a symbol (not + or X).
30a you are nearly there - the 9 letter word word means excess, then replace the last 4 letters by a symbol.
