My head is full of mushy peas this week, I can't seem to see the wordplay in 24d). the clue is
...and host runs away in skimpy underwear (5)
I have T_O_G which makes it Thong (skimpy underwear) but I can't see it from the rest of the clue.
Put me out of my misery please guys

A throng is a host -lose the r (runs away)

I was thinking of a provider for host and not a crowd or multitude, My mistake
I should have remembered Wordsworths Daffodils
