Any pointers to solve the last two appreciated..
9a Awkward situation makes wife change colour in middle of house party (3-3-2)H_W-__E-_O
10a Spot trouble lurking within fast flowing stretch of water (4,4) _A_l _A_E

The first one I think is a colloquialism for an awkward situation, and the last pit is probably DO.
The scond one I guess is some kind of lake, possible with ail in the middle of a word for fast moving?

Trouble- ail in (fast flowing) 2f's and sea.

10 A. I went with 'tail race' as it has ail (trouble) inside trace.

Tipex again ! Was thinking fail safe, to spot trouble, thanks.
