Probably the easiest Jumbo ever, but there's one answer I can't quite see and that's 58AC - "Most unintelligent secretary of state beginning to think". I have "dullest" as the answer but can't tie in the secretary of state bit. Also, I feel one of the amswers, "hotpepper" should have been clued as two words - I've never been aware that this could be one word only.

Thanks a lot, Trevor. I've never heard of him! It had to be "dullest" but I do like to tie in the clue.

I had the same problem justyfying "dullest" although it couldn't have been anything else. Secretaries of State (with a couple of exceptions)tend not to be remembered after their particular term of office and as I was only 6 when this one died, he had not registered with me.
I also agree that "hotpepper" should have been two words. It was an easy one this time compared with last week's.
