poor dorothy tailess means anagram of doroth(y) = orthod,+ ox (cow) = orthodox = normal.

The trick is to recognise the instruction that it's an anagram. Poor and complex for these two. It's also worth remembering that the answer usually relates to the first or last words of the clue,like here,see and normal.

terry thank you so much for that explanation for me I will near it in mind- I can usually see an anagram but didn't see that one. Your help is appreciated and you don't put people down for asking an obvious question.
