I can make many combinations with the above letters but none of them make sense
Para[soldier] and cave[look out]

11 ac is cave Edith Cavell without the ls

the other one looks like paratrooper without the trooper bit.

Thank you all. The Edith Cavell clue was very much beyond me I am afraid and I will have to look her up in Google. Not educated in the U.K. and many of theallusions escape me.
