Anybody need any help with this?

For a change, no help required for the Mephisto.

Have you tried the Azed this week ? I found it daunting at first but after much effort I think I may have finished it. I'd be a bit happier if I could explain all the spoonerisms though !

too much likje the Listener,where I don't understand
the prologue,let alone the rest!

Just spent two days sruggling over too much food and drinks with visitors from UK. I have finished, I think, except for 3A as I am sure it is an anagram but cannot solve it!!! I have ?a?nbi?t?ie. Bloody Norah!!!

I think you may have had a glass too many;I think you must mean 30a WAG-'N-BIETJIE. You are correct it
is an anagram,which if I am truthful I would not have found without the assisstance of Chambers
