It would seem that you have some incorrect letters because 'Vigorous Bond' indicated [to me] that it was an anagram and the answer is BORIS GUDONOV - an opera by Mussorgsky.

A thought indeed but what then do you have for the Brando movie as I am certain of my answer On The Waterfront.

I think Caravaggio has spelt it slightly wrong. Should be,
