Got very confused reading last set of posts - last week's crossword! Looking at this week's - this 23,25... etc - feel it will be straightforward once I get some idea of what it means. Any suggestions?
The quotation is from Sir Walter Scott if we are talking about the very long anagram in Araucaria's Prize crossword 25220.
When Liz said 23,25 etc I assumed she meant this puzzle.
However I note on Answerbank that there is confusion over today's crossword.
I agree it's clearly 22 ac - but on my PC, if I start at 23 and just type away, the words go into 22d, not 22ac.
If I click in any part of the answer, it highlights the whole answer, but with 22d not 22 ac
