Ta - I'd just managed to get that one, (I saw 'i lob' going up, then added 'ash')

DAMSEL - MS (manuscript / paper) inside LEAD (clue) reversed

Thanks, Big Dave. 'Damsel' was on my list of possibilities, but I couldn't see the reasoning for it being the answer. Think I'd given too much weight to the answer maybe ending 'sal'.
