I have finished this crossword, but couldn't see three of the answers, which I know are correct. Could someone please explain these:-
3D/ "Mountains where Bismarck is surrounded by
rising water". The answer is "ANDES" but I
cannot equate the "ND" bit.
7D/ "Team stuck in exit". The answer is "ELEVEN"
but where does "exit" come into it?
19D/ "Prepare to doff cap and show respect for
heavenly sight". The answer is "RAINBOW" but
I cannot tie in the doffing of the cap!
Maybe I'm not thinking in overdrive but, then
again, it may be something I'm not aware of
such as the so-called actress, Sasha
Alexander in 10 across!

Prepare to doff cap.
Train with top taken off.

Bismarck is the capital of North Dakota.

Bismarck in North Dakota = ND
