I have a cryptic clue which I cannot solve - the clue is:- Moveable keel which can be drawn up inside a boat. The answer relates to anything which can be worn on the head - 12 letters

A daggerboard is a retractable keel used by various sailing craft. While other types of centreboard may pivot to retract, a daggerboard slides in a casing.
