It's pointless trying to encourage people to give the clue when you give the answers anyway.

Please don't think I am just being awkward. But if you don't give the clue etc you are relying on some-one who has already done the crossword seeing your posting. With the clue a speedy answer is almost guaranteed.

I didn't understand the competition/exam thing. Wouldn't getting help for either be frowned on.
