I didn't know the term for a person who has suddenly risen to a higher social and economic class and has not yet gained social acceptance by others in that class, as they are a relative newcomer to a socioeconomic class. However, I got there by arranging and rearranging anagrams of rave-up and N

Parvenu
An upstart, a man newly risen into notice.
got it by dropping u from upstart and then rave up, venu, but which ever gives same answer.

Not quite the right approach, though you got there.

It is an anagram of rave-up (indicated by wild) plus the initial letter N from the word never (never initially) within the letters (appeared in)
